Welcome to the Brain Operation Database System (BODB "Beau-D-B"), an environment for documenting how a model for cognitive or systems neuroscience is linked to Summaries of the Experimental Data (SEDs) used to design and test the model.
New to BODB? Take the tour!
BODB is designed as a development environment for computational and experimental neuroscientists, and we welcome active data entry as well as feedback on system design. The system is described in chapter 5 of our new book with MIT Press: "From Neuron to Cognition via Computational Neuroscience". Models described in chapters from the book are documented in BODB. For more detailed documentation on all of BODB's features, please see the BODB Manual.

Development and support of this Website is based in part upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under Grants No. 0924674 and BCS-1343544, “INSPIRE Track 1: Action, Vision and Language, and their Brain Mechanisms in Evolutionary Relationship,” (Michael A. Arbib, Principal Investigator).
